Good to know
Never stored
Your Social Security number and birth date go straight to the check. We keep only the badge, who checked it and when.
Your choice, lane by lane
Badges start off in hiring and on everywhere else. Turn each lane on or off any time.
Nothing sensitive asked
We never ask about disability, health or anything about the justice system.
Business certifications
SBA programs (8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, VetCert), DBE, state and city programs like Texas HUB, and national councils.
Where we can check the program's public directory, the badge says Verified. Otherwise it says Self-reported. Certifications are checked again on their own, and a lapsed one drops off. Texas HUB certifications show as Self-reported until the directory check is switched on.
Where badges show
Hiring
Employers see the badges a candidate chooses to show. In hiring, badges are never scored and never filter anyone. Your company's certifications can show on your listings. Hire

Questions
What does a badge cost?
Nothing.
Do badges change who I'm matched with?
In hiring, no. Employers see the badges you choose to show, and that's all. Elsewhere, only when someone asks for it, like a project or trade partner that wants a certification: preferred ranks higher, required accepts only verified certifications.
Do you keep my Social Security number?
No. It goes once to the check and is never stored or logged. The same goes for your birth date.
Who sees my badges?
People you're matched with, in the lanes where you turn badges on. They see the badge name and Verified or Self-reported, never your certificate ID.
Can I remove a badge?
Yes, any time, in Settings, then Badges.
