Cost estimators · Open now
Cost estimators, matched on accuracy and how you work a bid.
Estimating is takeoffs, vendor quotes and judgment under a deadline. The story arcs include the bid that's due tomorrow and the quote that came in wrong, and your references say what you'd most likely do.

What the skills checklist starts with
Your checklist starts pre-checked from your role. You uncheck what you don't do and pick a depth for the rest: learning, some skill, independent, can supervise, or expert. Nothing counts until you confirm it.

How it works for cost estimators
Licenses
Common here: OSHA 10-hour construction. A license with its number counts for matching; verification is optional.
Trade partners you might meet
Construction managers, project management specialists and civil engineering technicians; for project work, the builders and owners who need a number.
Where you'd meet
On site, at the trailer, the shop or the office. Field roles always meet in person.
Project work fits
Estimating can be done remotely: a timed 30-minute video meetup is planned for remote-capable roles when both sides are ID-verified.
Questions
Do cost estimators need a résumé?
No. You answer a tap-only questionnaire, check your skills and how deep each one goes, play a few short work stories, and invite people to vouch for you.
How is my license shown?
Entered with its number and state, it counts for matching right away and shows as "Self-reported". Verification ($29.99) adds a "Verified" badge. The number is never shown.
Can I meet over video?
Not yet. A timed 30-minute video meetup is planned for project work in this field, when both sides are ID-verified. Hiring and networking meet in person.
