How a Go table comes together

  1. Tick Go in the app

Choose Teach me, Casual or Serious.

  2. Sign up for game night

Choose game night on your area's weekly group night. Sign-ups close two days before.

  3. Get your table

You're paired with one other member who wants to play. Everyone at it fits everyone else as a friend match, and plays at a similar level.

Questions

Is it one-on-one?

Yes. Go is for two, so you're paired with one other member who wants to play, in a public place. The pairing passes the same checks as a friend match.

I've never played Go. Can I join?

Yes. Choose Teach me and you'll sit with people who already know it and are happy to show you.

Is it free?

Yes. Joining and game nights are free. The only charge is ID verification, $4.99, before your first meeting. A venue may charge for a table, a drink or the game library.
