Three scales

Pace: Outgoing or Reserved

Outgoing. You get energy from people and activity, speak up quickly and decide fast.

Reserved. You get energy from quiet and a few close people, think before you speak and decide with care.

Focus: Tasks or People

Tasks. You notice what needs doing and how to do it well. Results and facts come first.

People. You notice how people are doing and what they need. Feelings and relationships come first.

Approach: Steady or Adventurous

Steady. You like what's proven: routines, plans and favorites you can count on.

Adventurous. You like what's new: change, variety and trying things you've never done.

Reading other people's styles

Pace and focus make four styles. Spotting someone's style tells you how to meet them where they are.

Go-getters

Outgoing and task-focused. Direct, quick and driven by results.

  • Get to the point and lead with the plan.
  • Give them choices and a goal, not a lecture.

  • Share the big picture and the fun parts first.

Supporters

Reserved and people-focused. Calm, loyal and a great listener.

  • Slow down and ask how they're doing.
  • Give notice before changes, and don't spring surprises.
  • Show you care with consistency, not big gestures.

Thinkers

Reserved and task-focused. Careful, precise and independent.

  • Give details and the reasons behind them.
  • Allow time to think before you ask for an answer.
  • Respect their space and their standards.

How the quiz works

Three short parts

About 48 everyday questions, split into three parts of 3 to 5 minutes. Finish all three for your free report.

Built to be steady

Fifteen questions per scale, worded in both directions so agreeable answering doesn't skew the result.

Honest about the middle

If you sit near the middle of a scale, your report says you're balanced and names the type next door.

Private

Your answers are never shown. You choose whether matches see your type's name.

Used gently in matching

Similar focus and approach count toward personality fit. Pace can differ; opposites there often balance.

No label decides a match

Matching uses your scale scores, not the type name, so nobody is ruled out by a label.

Questions

Is this the same as DISC or Myers-Briggs?

No. It's Zydeby's own model. Like DISC, it looks at pace and focus; it adds approach, how much you like the new versus the familiar.

Can my type change?

Yes, especially if you're near the middle of a scale. Your report shows where you sit, and you can retake any part.

Where do I take it?

When you sign up, in your browser or in the iPhone app. Sign in with Apple or Google, answer the basics, then the three short parts. The report is free.

Which one are you?
